1. About these terms

Canvas Dining is a private chef service operated by Chef Nils Schneider in Calgary, Alberta. By requesting a booking, accepting a quote or using this website, you agree to these terms.

These are placeholder terms provided for the build. Please have them reviewed by your own legal advisor before the site goes live.

2. Bookings and quotes

All dates are held as requests until we confirm them in writing. Every event is quoted individually based on guest count, menu, location and service requirements.

A quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Your booking is confirmed once the quote is accepted and the deposit has been received.

3. Deposits and payment

A non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due before the event unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

4. Changes and cancellations

Guest counts, menus and dietary needs can be adjusted up to seven days before the event, subject to sourcing.

Cancellations made within seven days of the event may be charged in full to cover ingredients and reserved time. If we must cancel for reasons beyond our control, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

5. Allergies and dietary needs

Please tell us about every allergy and dietary requirement when you book. We take them seriously, but our kitchen handles allergens and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6. Your space and safety

For events in your home or venue, you agree to provide safe access to a working kitchen, water and power. You remain responsible for your guests and your property.

We may end service if the environment is unsafe or if guests behave abusively toward our team.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
