Canvas Dining is a private chef service operated by Chef Nils Schneider in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and our booking process.

Account details such as your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
Booking details such as event dates, addresses, guest counts, menu preferences, allergies and dietary needs.

To plan, quote and deliver your event, to keep you updated about your booking, and to handle payments and receipts.
To improve our service and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Payments are handled by our payment provider. Card details are entered on their systems and we never store full card numbers.
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business, such as hosting, database, email and payment partners, and only as far as needed. We may also share information where the law requires it.
We keep booking records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal reasons, then delete or anonymise them.
Health-related notes such as allergies are used only to prepare your meal safely.
You can view and update your profile at any time from your account, ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
